You might feel that you are too busy and not able to find any spare time. It is really important that you try to make some time during the day or in the evening to do something you enjoy. If you have little time, there are some pleasant activities that do not take up a lot of time and which you can fit in around your day.No energy. You might have less energy because caregiving can be tiring. Although it is hard to imagine, it is likely that you will feel more energized after doing something you like.No money. You might think that you have to spend lots of money to do something pleasant. Pleasant activities do not have to be costly. You can keep the activities as simple as you want them to be. For example, things like meeting a friend for a cup of tea or going for a walk by yourself do not cost money.Not in the mood. You might not feel like doing pleasant activities. Although it is hard to imagine, it is likely that your mood will be better after doing something you like. On the other hand, not doing pleasant activities will likely worsen your mood.Physical limitations. You might think that if you have physical limitations, you are not able to do a pleasant activity. If you have physical limitations, think of activities that you can do despite your limitations. There are many possibilities, such as reading, playing a game or talking to a friend.Guilt. You might feel guilty because you will feel that you are running away from the person you care for.
